Your Excellency,

With letter n. A/30/06, sent on 4 April of this year 2006, you have asked if, in the opinion of the Holy See, there are any objections to the cause of Beatification and Canonisation of the Servant of God Alessandra Sabattini, lay faithful, whose life ended in 1984.

Having examined the matter, I am happy to inform your Excellency that the Holy See has no objections to the initiation of the cause of Beatification and Canonisation of the Servant of God Sandra Sabattini, observing the ‘Normae Servandae in Inquisitionibus ab Episcopis Faciendis in Causis Sanctorum’ (Norms to be Observed in Inquiries made by Bishops in the Causes of Saints), issued by this Congregation on 7 February 1983.
